Emerald Ash Borer Treatments
Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive insect pest first detected in 2002 in Michigan after arriving on improperly treated wood packaging from Asia. The adult beetle lays eggs on Ash trees, eggs hatch and larvae feed on Cambium of tree, eventually killing the tree.
It is the most destructive forest pest to ever come to North America, according to the the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. This pest has already killed hundreds of thousands of ash trees in Ontario and 8 to 10 million in Michigan.
We offer a treatment which will give 2 years of protection against EAB. Please don’t wait until you have an infestation, it may be too late. If you are within 25 kms of a known infestation, treatment must begin immediately.
